Start with Sandals
It is our favorite time of year again! Summer is here and the fashionistas start walking the streets with their outfits on point. Whether you’re strolling around the mall or heading to the beach, an absolute essential for this summer are sandals. Sandals can make or break an outfit, especially if they are cuter than they are comfortable or don’t match your outfit. We love playing around with different details and features to use sandals as a great summer accessory. Bold and bright colors are a great way to use your shoe choice as an opportunity to make a statement.
Lace-Ups
Sandals that wrap around your ankle and make their way up your legs are seriously trendy and seriously cute. This snake-like sandal trend is a great way to dress up a simple outfit like cutoff shorts and a basic tank. Try adding some simple accessories, like layering rings or necklaces, to dress up your outfit without taking too much attention away from your kicks. Lace-ups are great for going out to lunch or dinner with a friend, but beware taking them to the beach or somewhere where you will be needing to take them on and off as they don’t easily slip on and off.
Platforms
Platform sandals are one of the newest trends and we couldn’t be more excited. They add height, style, and confidence without sacrificing comfort. A pair of platforms can easily be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion and look great on everyone. Wearing platforms allows more creativity to your outfit, along with bringing more “life to the party.” When wearing platforms during the day, try pairing them with a romper, capri length jumpsuit, or cut-off jeans to show them off while elongating your legs. They’re also great night-time shoes as they still add a bit of extra height but are comfortable to wear out on the town.
Fringe
Shimmy your shoes through the streets and show off a fun fringe! Fringed sandals add fun color and movement to your outfit that we are obsessed with. Fringe looks great on both heels and flats so they possibilities are endless. Fringe looks great on tops and tees but there is something so uniquely fun about a pair of fringe sandals. Fringe with rolled up jeans is a great trendy look that adds a bit of edge to any outfit.
Backless Loafers
Keeping up with the latest trends is an easy way to keep an otherwise boring work outfit fun and exciting. It may not be sandals, but they sure are becoming popular again. Loafers a simple and easy go-to and backless versions are great to wear during the warmer months of the year. Some people may think that loafers are not quite their style, however now they are becoming very vogue with ripped or flared jeans. Girlfriend jeans paired with loafers and a duster is something that we love to see in the office. Wearing these to work is great as they have a classic look without being super dressy. Loafers come in multiple colors but we especially love neutral options for optimal outfits.
